We started building this trail in 1993. Steve Mayo was the man who laid most of it out, and countless other people helped flag and cut and still help groom it to this day. This place gets a couple of tons of traffic any time it’s open. The rangers close it when it’s wet, and it can stay that way for months in the winter.
