Located 14 miles south of Bozeman at the north end of the Gallatin Range. Highlights: West Shore Trail is ugly (lots of logging debris) but fun, a good test piece for novice and intermediate riders; views of Hyalite Reservoir; spectacular views of the peaks along the West Fork of Hyalite Creek. Tread: 3.6 miles on gravel roads; 2.6 miles on singletrack.
