Town of Amherst, about 6 miles east of Interstate 91, 10 miles east of Northhampton, and 95 miles west of Boston. Rolling terrain, with regular, short, sometimes steep, climbs and descents, and no large hills. From either the north or south, it's generally climbing for a while, then rolling, and downhill. Watch for occasional hikers and announce your presence when approaching them from behind....
