The trails loop through this park 30 miles southeast of Lafayette. My trip down to this southernmost Louisiana loop in the Atchafalaya Basin was initially set up after series editor Dennis Coello returned from a Louisiana photo shoot. Despite the unfortunately short (1 3/4 mile route and a 1 3/4 mile one) and flat trails, scenery alone would be enough to qualify these trails as classic rides....
