I\'ve only seen people running this in reverse, I\'ve only run it as follows...begin with half a mile of light climbing to warm up followed by a sustained, steep effort for maybe a mile (or so it seems). At the apex go straight through a 4-way and head downhill. Build speed as the downhill is short and again you find a very steep climb for just a few hundred meters. The rest is basically scenic...
