The initial climb is soft, so you might wash out a little. There are enough roots and rocks to add some challenge to the climb and some air to the descent. The trail forks at one point, we took the right, but the left looked good too. Trail is pretty twisty. Eventually, we happened on a vehicle-accessible forest road that appeared to keep going for a while.
