Polipoli Park is in the Kula Forest Reserve on the western side of Haleakala starting at the 6,000 foot elevation and ending at 8,600. Of the numerous trails within the reserve only Waiakoa Loop, Upper Waiakoa, Mamane and Skyline are open to mountain bikes.
