This is a great trial for a long uphill endurance. The parking lot is right off of Taft Hill Rd, when you park you have about a 0.4 mile flat ride till you get to the base of the foothills. The climb begins there, uphill for another 1 mile or so. Then you will treverse across the first range of hills to an entrance to the next range. That is where the fun begins.
