Lake trails do not go all the way around due to Sept 11, damn is blocked off approximately 4 miles into the trail, so plan ahead since parking lot gates will lock vehicles in if left after hours. Very safe, family oriented. Single paved road closed to cars on weekdays only, open to all bikers, bladers, skateboarders, and walkers. Trail along lake is a littly rocky, watch for snakes.
