The western part of the stronghold trail is only 1 3/4 miles to the top. This is the side that is much steeper and therefore more dangerous(fun).From the east side of the Stronghold trail (up from sunsites) it is about twice as far therefore being a little more mellow of a ride. The rides on both sides contain some crazy technical runs with spectacular scenery.
