The trail has mild grades as it runs along side the Matanuska River on top of the old rail road bed to Sutton. There are some spots where gravel slides have covered the rail bed. There are single track trails over these slides, but plan on walking some unless you are more skilled. This is a very scenic route, good for all skill levels.
